Overview
kubefit is a command-line trainer for practical Kubernetes and Linux exams: CKA, CKAD, CKS, LFCS, CNPE, CKNE and ICA. It runs timed, graded drills on your own machine. The site, app.kubefit.com, holds the concepts and playbook for each track, your reports and your notebooks.
The loop
- Read. Each track has a Concepts guide and a Playbook on the site, organised by the exam's domains and weights, with the documentation the exam lets you open.
- Drill.
kubefit drill ckaseeds a scenario into a local kind cluster (LFCS uses a disposable Ubuntu VM), prints the task and starts the clock.kubefit gradechecks the real state of the cluster as often as you like. Exiting the drill shell records the rep. - Review. Reps sync to your account.
kubefit reportand the site's Reports page weight your domains like the exam, measure your pace against each task's target and pick what to drill next.kubefit notekeeps what you learned.
What a rep records
Every graded attempt stores the exercise, the target minutes, elapsed seconds, whether it passed, how many checks passed, and how many grades it took. A pass on the first grade is a cold pass, which is the exam skill the report tracks separately from "got there eventually".
