Concepts and playbooks

The CLI never teaches; it seeds, times and grades. The reading lives in the app, one guide per track, in two parts:

  • Concepts: what each exam domain covers, how the pieces work, and which documentation sites the exam lets you open. Concepts are public.
  • Playbook: the under-the-clock version. Recognition cues, the commands to reach for, how to verify, and Coach Caz's callouts. Playbooks need a signed-in account, which is free.

If you are signed out, the app asks you to sign in and then returns you to the page you asked for. The Concepts guides are also readable without an account at kubefit.com/guides.

How it fits with drills

  1. Read the Concepts section for the domain you are about to drill. kubefit report cka shows the recommended exercises and domains without starting a drill.
  2. Drill cold. Keep the playbook closed until the rep is recorded; opening it mid-drill is the same kind of help as kubefit hint, except nothing records it, so your report flatters you.
  3. After a miss, read the matching playbook section, write one line with kubefit note, and let the scheduler bring the exercise back.

There are no drill pages or drill solutions in the app. Tasks, hints and walkthroughs exist only in the CLI, inside the signed packs. The one exercise in the browser is Command recall, which runs nothing and records no reps.
